Monthly storytelling nights for grown ups
ScandalNights is a monthly event at the gorgeous Tom Thumb Theatre featuring some of the UK's top professional performance storytellers. Prepare to be spellbound, moved, inspired and generally wowed as you travel the world from the comfort of your seat.
We feature a new storyteller every month. These storytellers tour nationally and internationally. They perform at venues such as the Barbican and the Soho Theatre and at storytelling festivals across the world. They really are hot stuff.
We're also dedicated to showing off new talent and experimental work. You may experience dazzling collaborations between storytellers and musicians. You may hear words you didn't know existed. You may hear words that actually don't exist. You may even see someone take their clothes off, all in the name of storytelling of course. Who knows. One thing is certain. It's almost impossible to not have a great night!

Lies My Garden Told Me
An original one woman story show conceived and told by Fleur Alexander.
Part storytelling, part theatre and part comedy, Fleur takes you to a world where the line between childhood memory and imagination are blurred beyond recognition.
You are hosted by an array of vivid colourful characters, awash with observational humour and littered with intricate metaphor, all the while hinting a homage to the classic story 'The Lady Who Swallowed A Fly.'
Conceived in San Francisco and developed and finished in London, it premiered/scratched at NBT, ran during the Camden Fringe 2011 and has been told at various storytelling evening around London.
"honest and fresh… a beautiful reminder of the magic of child's play and creativity, that needn't be restricted to children" On The Fringe
"absolutely charming… what is magical about Lies My Garden Told Me is that it has the power to turn adults into six year-olds" Snipe
